I hope everyone had an opportunity to watch General Conference this last weekend. Remember Elder Bednar's talk about prayer? As a family, let's incorporate the power of prayer in our daily fitness routine. It might sound a little corny coming from me, but go online and re-read Elder Bednar's talk and come up with a prayer routine. Here's one idea: In the morning, Dennis and I make a list of people, situations, or whatever that needs "prayin' over". We write it down on a sticky note and slap it on the cupboard door. It's line of sight, and keeps those things ever present throughout the day. How can we better incorporate prayer in this project? Any ideas?

Sore muscles and prayer
Russell's work out program hurts so it must be working. I only just started last week and even then only did one full workout, so... I am hoping for the best. I've decided to incorporate a walking routine along with the resistance training on the bowflex, so starting tomorrow I'll be hitting the lovely treadmill. If the fall rains hadn't already started (buckets!) Dennis and I would be walking outside in the morning... I would be his new Al. Rather than distance, I'll be doing a moderate walk for 30 minutes, increasing the difficulty each week.
